Marie Dixon - dancer and singer
Since childhood Marie's life has been the theatre - playing leads in many productions, including The Pyjama Game, Carousel, the Sound of Music, and Anything Goes, eventually becoming a member of Equity. She has featured in radio, rep. and television - Granada and BBC.

Marie trained as a dancer and mezzo-soprano and for many years was a solo cabaret artiste specialising in Music Hall and the 1920's, at the same time managing her own company, entertaining audiences around the country.

A qualified, experienced teacher of Speech and Drama, specialising in Public Speaking and Communication - she received a Fellowship in Speech in 1975 and a Licentiate for Teaching in 1976.

Her love of clothes is expressed in her elegant dress, costumes and authentic props are used in her lectures.
