Libby Morris - a very popular performer on British television
Libby left Canada and in the late 50's came to live in London, and soon became a very popular performer on British television with many comedy appearances in various variety shows such as: The Jack Jackson Show, Sunday Night at the London Palladium, On the Braden Beat, Morecambe and Wise, David Frost, Dave King, Des O'Connor - all of which led to series, and "specials" of her own. Several years ago, Libby created her own one-woman show, which has played all over the world including off-Broadway, the West End, and Channel 4. She has also written Edith Piaf, Je Vous Aime - for the theatre, as well as television and revue material. She has recorded several albums. In America she has appeared in cabaret in New York and Chicago, and has been a guest on various television shows including: The Johnny Carson Tonight Show, Merv Griffin, Jack Parr, and Art Linkletter.
