Jonathan is a principal coach at Glyndebourne and, until 1997, was Head of Music staff. He is a professor at the Guildhall School of Music and tutor at the London Opera Centre. Also, Jonathan is a conductor, accompanist, and coach.

At the piano he can illuminate opera in a way which is entertainment rather than education. You can get to know an opera with insight and humour, and Jonathan will do this superbly (he needs a piano)
