David Stewart - Scotland's leading animal agent

David graduated form Edinburgh University with honours in zoology in 1983 after which he travelled widely in Australia and Africa before returning home to put down roots. A brief flirtation with deer farming resulted in him handling a stag for a car commercial which diverted him towards what he does now.

He is Scotland's leading animal agent, has handled everything from elephants to ants, has worked on (and often featured in) such high profile projects as Trainspotting, Loch Ness, Monarch of the Glen and Sweet Sixteen.

The talks centre around the use of animals in television, film and advertising, how they are chosen, trained and handled to achieve the desired impressions in front of the camera. In an age when so much of our shared experience comes from the media there is a desire in most of us to peek behind the mask. So whether you like animals or not you will find their perspective fascinating and glimpse a different side of the business.

Talks:-

Creature Feature - An Animal Agent's Autobiography;
Animal Actors and Animal Extras -
The Animal side of things;
The Ant's Eye View
- A Foot Soldier's experience of the business.

N.B. Talks can be tailored to any needs. David can arrange several talks so that expenses can be spread, so don't let Scotland put you off!
